Some of the reviews on this casino are simply inaccurate and untrue.
1) There is a water dispenser, hot and cold.
2) The casino indeed does not have a restaurant. However, a food vendor is in the parking lot. Vendors come into the casino selling food and soda.
3) Some of the nearby restaurants (300') indeed have excellent food.
4) The dealers and staff are as proficient and professional as any you will find in a casino.
5) The hourly high hand is unmatched from any casino.
a) $100 every hour 24/7, even if only one table.
b) Only one card in your hand has to play (who does that)?
c) There is no qualifying minimum hand, ace high could (in theory) win.
All that said, tight play beats their 6-12 limit every time. All of their games are relatively tight in the mornings and early afternoon as many older retirees play here. The oaks allows their customers to become relatively inebriated versus other casinos. It is not uncommon for rude customers to talk (loud) on their phones while at the table. I can still only rate them a two out of five.
