If you have never been here, skip it.
Food: Did not have any but did see a wrap being eaten that looked pretty good.
Equipment: Old chips, cards full of black flecks and the cards are dim. Comfortable but to me low chairs, tables seemed in good shape and the room seems pretty clean overall.
Dealers: Pretty good but quiet. Barely mentioned a straddle most of the time and when announced, not loud enough and muffled by masks with one exception…Vicki!
Hands down one of the best dealers I’ve ever seen and I have done the job. Kept the action going, quick, audible and a real pro.
Staff: Did not order food or drink but the wait staff was always around and loud. Nice work!
Front desk person seemed lackadaisical all of the time on my first visit but whatever. Never said a word about the bottle of water I brought in and I’m glad I did. When you ask for water you get a plastic cup filled with who knows what. Could be filtered, though.
While playing our dealer called for the FP. No response until players started calling for the FP who was sitting two or three tables over with other staff.
FP (same person that was at the desk) turns, looks over his shoulder at the table, turns back and continues what he’s doing and leaves the dealer to sort it out.
Unprofessional.
On my second visit on a Sunday about noon, beautiful day.
Walk in, nod to the desk and ten feet later I am blocked by “security” who is standing much too close to me and we have this exchange:
“Sir, no liquids allowed”
“Why?”
Says something about private facility and the owners don’t allow it.
“I like to stay hydrated.”
“I don’t care.”
“You just lost a customer.”
Turned to walk out, let the folks at the desk know that they lost a customer over a water bottle and a guy with attitude.
Response from the desk was a sing-song, snotty, “Okaaaay Sirrrrrr,” spouted out by one of them.
Believe all negative reviews about this place and stay away.
Management and all staff are a reflection of ownership no matter what type of business is being run.
Places like this are what gives poker a bad reputation.
Stay away. Stay away. Stay away.
