This place holds a tournament during the day and then forces the 4 or 5 winners to start the cash game. Cash game doesn't go past 6 or 7 people, three of them being the owners/dealers. The rake keeps the game to a minimum because no one is buying in more than 200, if that.
I've been a consistent player and supporter of Paramount for years, but I've had to find a new place to play due to the poor management of the cash game. I've shown up countless times, for MONTHS, waiting on a cash game to start and some days it never did. Yesterday when I returned to see if there was a game going on, I walked in and shot pool for a little while and the floor guy came up to me to let me know the owners want me to pay $10 to be inside if I'm not playing the cash game.
I'm not going to explain how that makes me feel, so I'll leave it here and let yall decide if yall want to play at a place like this.
