Played there Sunday evening to kill a few hours. Parking is a challenge but it seems to be in a decent area so I wasn't too worried about walking around there at night. I didn't have a time for a full tournament so played in a 1/2 shoot-out. Basically, it's an hourly cash game but uses mostly tournament rules in order to comply with city ordinances. The biggest difference between this and a cash game- once you sit down you can't cash out until the top of the hour. You also have to wait til the hour is over before you can tip the dealer. I had one too many manic/calling stations at my first table so when they asked if anyone wanted to move because they were starting a new table I offered to go. (Even though the hour wasn't up.) Like a cash game you choose your buy-in- anywhere from $40 to $300. You also don't have to turn your cards over if an all-in is called. My second table had a better feel. Pretty passive bunch. Just played ABC and broke even. Ordered food- which was brought to my table. Got a breakfast sandwich w/ hashbrowns for $8. Later on a drank a couple of Ninkasi IPAs for $5 each. Overall I had a positive experience. Next time I go I plan to get involved a few tournaments.
