The environment is awesome. The poker section is on the second floor, closed off, and completely unimpeded by the slots downstairs. The room is spacious and well designed. Floor is helpful and the service is fantastic. From what I recall, the game structures listed on this site are a bit different from reality. The discrepancy is with the 2/5 game, which is capped at $500, while the 5/5 goes up to $1500.
The players are friendly. They know what they are doing but no one seems like a professional. The casino overall has the most "Vegas" type feel compared to other California venues. The only thing I'd improve is perhaps the food selection.
Also... some of the tourney regs don't like outsiders. One time I made it to the final table of a tourney that paid the final 2 tables. I was the first to bust out of the final table then all the regs decided to chop... lame...
Cash games are great though, so 5 stars from me.
