I found the room in good shape. Clean, well maintained, open and airy. Close to the bathrooms and exits. Quickly seated and initial chips available at the desk. Sign in at the table and the dealers kept good track of those new players and those that moved seats. Tables were not bad, but not what I would expect from the Home of the WSOP. They were clean with no tears or spots, but just a little worn. Still, I was content to play there and the auto shufflers were great. I found that the space around the table was good and roomy for all. Tables spaced out comfortably, with room to move in and out of your seats. Tournaments were good, and well run. overall I enjoyed my playing time at the Rio Poker room.
Many, many, many locals putting in their time for the daily and monthly freerolls. They aren't that hard to beat as they look at many tourists as easy pickings, but many of them got busted by us "fish". Still, a lot of locals grinding it out for the freerolls, but always a good game going for $1-3 and they also have an Omaha table.
I had no issues with the dealers and found them very competent. Only once was the floor called due to a player trying to string bet. Cleared up quickly and firmly by the floor
never had a need to ask for service and the attractive ladies were always around to take an order. Very enjoyable.
Quickly seated, well run and kept the room very clean. I appreciated their service.
$1 per hour and $3 from 3 AM to noon. Takes 24 hours to show up on players card, but was able to use all before our trip ended.
