I rate the room as average, however it reminded me of a Super 8 motel. The atmosphere was good, and the location of the Riviera impressed me with its variety of eating places and shops close to it, and the valet parking was quick and great.
The players were mixed in their experience, however not that tough to read.
The dealers seemed experienced, however I did witness a few mistakes, one where a player hit his straight on the river and the dealer tried to award the pot to a player with 2 pair. On the whole decent dealers with a good attitude, even going on deep into the early morning at the only table going.
The waitresses were pretty scarce, and the drinks were not that great. They were definitely not in the same league with more upscale casino waitresses.
Management was friendly, the poker room is very small and in the middle of the casino. Not too much else to say.
I asked and was told there were no comps, but they may be able to give me a deal on a hot dog!? Please.....
