I experienced the worst dealer favoritism I have ever seen, the dealer appeared to be helping a player out on tough decisions, this player made eye contact with the dealer way too much. And this player was over tipping the dealers. (first sign something was not right) And it looked like the deck was fanned towards this player, she was in the 3 seat. ( The player next to me said she is always in the 3 seat, and he stays out of her way because she never loses a hand) The suspicious player never made a mistake and was chip leader of the table in just a short period of time. I learned from the player next to me that she is a dealer there and her husband is the poker room manager. I play poker to play against other players not the house, this is definitely a one sided game and to top it off they have an $8 rake 20% of the first $30 dollars then 10% more until it caps at $8.00. It's a one a done for me. I will find a place to play where the dealers are not allowed to play. They do have a sign on the wall that says they use shills and prop players. I I asked the dealer if we had one such player and he said it is only there because it is a gaming rule all poker rooms have to post it, but I have never seen it anywhere else before. Poker player Beware.
