Today's the first day of tournaments at Saracen's poker room, I for one am excited to see that day come.
Tournaments open a whole new genre of competition along with a game dynamic preffered by some players, should bring in some fresh faces before its over with.
The management team has made a good decision to run some freeroll tournaments allowing dealers and players to get a handle on rule differences, level progressions, etc....before we're paying to play. Smart move, I for one will support these first games, and Don't forget your staff appreciation dollars, tips aren't flowing for these dealers during tournament play and the work is the same, but without the shuffler. Saracen,s giving 4k chip bonus for 10$ staff donation in a 1K stack freeroll, that math makes the decision easy.
I'm glad to see that tournaments have been scheduled well into the future with 75$ and 100$ buyins starting soon. Would like to have seen some limited rebuy options, and a player bounty night, possibly in the future? I expect to see some hiccups and a few slow or stutter starts as they get thier procedures ironed out, hence the freerolls, but I'm certain Saracen's poker room team will handle the events with the same professionalism and courtesy they have handled everything else. I hope I can make the list for the first tournament today at 12:00, see you there!
P.S.
Alot of players want to know:
