An updated review.
This club has made many improvements since my last review. My biggest issue was with floors and dealers but that has mostly been fixed. The two daytime floors, Michelle and Cody, are great. They are very customer focused. I don’t play at night as often anymore but the night floors are just as good. The poorer and weaker dealers are all mostly gone and forgotten, having been replaced by professional dealers.
The club appears to be cleaner, however the bathrooms could get more attention at busy times. They have new chips and even upgraded the coffee situation. It is actually drinkable.
If you are a tournament player, there is usually an overlay once a week so good value there.
The General Manager, Matt, despite having a bizarre haircut, is listening to the complaints/issues/suggestions players have and is trying to make improvements.
One great perk is that this club offers free time the more you play every week. Free time just for playing poker! No other club in Austin does this.
