Tuesday night has been $20 night for as long as I remember. Now it's $40.00 . This is to high. Tuesday night should be $20.00 night.
I was told by a staff member that "this is just the beginning, and their goal is to get rid of all the low cost games qnd increase the game fee" . This is a very bad idea. If this is really true they will loose many customers and players...
Example:
The Houston location offered a $20 game on Friday and many weeks , as on holiday weekends the fee changes to as high as 300 and not regular. The amount of people was as high at over 207 each week they loose customers... all their fault from not being a normal $20.00 game. Each week the amount of players decreases and of I am not mistaken last week they had to do an over lay or almost did not make it.
This is what killed Prime Social. They had a BOOMING business then they kept changing the tournament And lost all their business. HISTORY REPEATS ...
IN TOURNAMENT GAMES CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY...
These games need to be regular and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday am and Sunday need to be low priced $20.00 tournaments.
Keep in mind that people drink and tip the waitress when we play. When the daily games are to $$$$$ people stop coming and this, in the long run will harm your tournament, harm your liquor sales and people will get discouraged and stop coming completely.
I hate to post anything negative, as I enjoy going and enjoy playing and enjoy the staff... but it just simply makes me very upset that both locations are making bad decisions related to tournaments.
Another big issue is last Sunday I was moved five times in a 30 minute time period. This is simply put 100 percent not acceptable. I understand that people need to move as more people join but to move a person then less that one minute later refill the same seat with a new person is simply not acceptable. If people come later male them wait a fee minutes till more new players come vers moving people around. And if the floor person knows they already moved a person ... don't keep moving him many times.
I have brought this to the attn of the floor staff that did this and I voice my displeasure
