Average to below average. I wouldn't go out of my way to pay Hold Em here, but I love Omaha Hi-Lo and this is only one of a few places to play it in town. I played a 2 hour $4-8 limit O8B (with half kill) session here from 4-6AM on a Friday morning. The room smells like an old bowling alley. The tables are nicely spaced, but on the grungy side. The chips are the oldest, nastiest things I've ever seen at a poker table.
Rock garden. A bunch of old guys that are not particularly good at Omaha, but probably play it all the time. These were a bunch of grimy, humorless old clods. Personal hygiene was not high on the priority list here. The action was fairly passive and predictable. I saw a lot of crying calls with really weak hands. After starting out down about $50, I finished up $150 after two hours... mainly due to scooping a huge $250 kill pot. I'd play here again for the action, not the ambience.
Like the rest of the room, adequate but unimpressive. Efficient, but not a lot of personality. No mistakes or bad situations that I recall.
Didn't really notice.
Kept the seats filled. Friendly and efficient. I don't recall any situations where the floor was called to the table.
Didn't notice. Free donuts in the morning were a nice gesture.
