Wife an I moved here from Maryland a few months ago and both of us previously played at MD Live a couple times a month in tournaments, sometimes cash games. Retired now and started playing a couple times a week, wife just plays tournaments and I play both 1/2 cash and tournaments.
Mostly nice good dealers, there are one or two that could use a refresher in math and table leadership once in a while but overall pretty good. Staff and snack bar wait service is very good compared to MD LIve that you had to walk clear across the casino to get something quick to eat which sucked.
Played in a big tourney once and the wife had to come bring me food because the walk from poker room to food area took 10 minutes and breaks were only 15 or 20 minutes at most. So Silks is a welcome surprise in this regard.
There does seem to be a little bit of loose table talk but usually after the hand. If you want to play a few times a week and not break the bank if you go through a dry spell, this is the place for you.
