TI is a smaller room (approx. 8-10 tables), but it more than holds its own in comparison it to similarly sized rooms. Room has a good look, very clean, and it's clearly a priority for the casino, not a worn out afterthought like some of the other small rooms. Was busy the two evenings I was there, and offers regular small buy-in tourneys to draw in players who usually stick around for cash games after. If you are looking for low limit NL or LHE with a friendly, fun atmosphere, TI is worth a look. You certainly won't be treated as a second class player like you might at the bigger rooms that cater to the higher limit player and tolerate low limit players as a necessary evil.
Player quality is all over the board. Playing 1-3NL, I typically found a mix of 2-3 good TAG players / rocks, 4-5 fish / calling stations, and the occasional random maniac.
Dealers were mostly friendly and competent. Errors were very rare.
I only had the occasional beer, soda, or water, but waitresses were usually pretty quick with turnaround time. Service was actually better during the evenings when the room was packed, longer wait in the mornings when only a couple of tables were running.
Room managers were friendly and outgoing, seemed to care that you actually had a good time. Decisions on hands were correct (the couple I saw). Tourneys were well-run.
TI has HHJs for straight flushes and quads, with a "quads of the day". I saw three sets of quads get bonuses. Also, they have a "splash pot" bonus going now, where they add a mystery bonus ($25 to $1000) to a pot every few hours. Two of these landed at my tables, really juiced up the game--fun idea. TI offers hourly comps, but not sure the amount as the hours did not post to my account automatically when I left the table after an 8 hour session. Guess I'll see what I earned next trip out!
