1) if the poker room was in a different area, they would be able to get more players playing. For where it is now, it is alittle away from the rest of the table games and sports book, therefore will not attract attention unless you're specifically looking for it or walking by.
2) The table I was playing (table #3), could be replaced for a newer table. Could tell the table saw it's miles.
3) Small room, but in a different location, could be bigger.
-- a couple of locals at my table in the 5 hours I played at the 1/3 NL table. They were solid players, but also very beatable.
-- 90% of the players were good on skill. Knowing who the ones are that would risk all their chips on top pair are easy to figure out. One guy was sitting there folding each and every hand preflop or limping, reading CardPlayer magazine the whole time, then folding if he didnt hit the board. If he had a premium hand, then he would raise preflop. I just laughed at the sight of this guy. . . So i.e. this room will have mostly solid players and the occasional one that needs to stay @ his/her home games.
-- Bought in for 200 (500 max @ 1/3 NL), and left with 1K. Def will be coming back here again.
-- would be a "5" except that one dealer (forgot his name) gave the winning pot to the wrong person and had no idea who won at that point. Good thing myself and a couple of other players were paying attention to the hand and vouched for the victim. The right person got the pot fortunately. The dealer profusely apologized and refused the tip that the guy gave him for winning the pot. Said he didnt deserve it.
Quick service. Nothing much else to say.
-- had no problem getting my questions answered and they were very informative as I checked in.
-- Very friendly management and no problems getting my jackpot bonus. Just had to wait until they got thier paperwork done. No big deal. I'll wait for the extra $$$.
-- Jackpot bonus plus progressive Royal flush jackpot.
-- $100 quad bonus
-- $250 St8 flush bonus.
-- I believe there were bad beat bonuses but forgot what they were.
-- $2/hr comps. From what it looks like, one of the best around.
