Please take the time to read about this wonderful room!

The rooms were everything you should expect. The entire hotel / casino was clean and orderly. Everything you would expect was in the room. (Shampoo, conditioner, iron...) There are two reasons that I cannot give a 5. 1) While everything was great, nothing was over and above. 2) No in-room coffee.
All and all I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

The players were pretty easy to figure out early. With a $60 buy-in I wasn't expecting the toughest competition, but instead many players that are the best player at thier home game.
This was mostly true. I did run into some GREAT players and that is what made the game fun for me. I got to practice running over newbies while trying to avoid the grizzled veterans.
If you are looking for a fun game with good people, play here. It will be easy / friendly enough for those new to the game, but tough enough that the better players will not feel they are at a "donkeyfest"

I wish there were a 6 rating here. I played in 7 tourneys and saw about 23652 different dealers. I only had a small issue with one, and as soon as I pointed it out, he was AWESOME and genuine in his desire to fix the issue.
With a group of players as diverse as those I played with it is easy to "over simplify" the game and slow it down, or to push the action so fast that the rookies feel lost. These dealers really knew how to read the table, and push the game accordingly.
The table banter was always flowing and the dealers knew when it was appropriate to join in w/o affecting the game. They made it fun but maintained professionalism.
A few of them Hank particularly, really took time to help me find great places to eat, or shows... Just more of the little things that made this room GREAT.

There were a few (just a few) times my glass got empty, but all in all the drinks came fast and furious. They offered everything you would expect and a few suprises. Red Bull was a table favorite so I thought I would throw them a curveball and asked for a sugar-free Red Bull... No problem. Tip-em a buck and they kept them flowing.
Many reviewers discuss the looks of the wait staff so I guess that is important. I actually just want good, quick service with a smile. But for those who care the staff had it's ups and downs, but all in all they were attractive and friendly.

Again 1-5 doesn't do it. There were 2 times the management staff really went above and beyond.
1) When we were 3 handed and were discussing chopping. The manager and dealer helped us with determining the best way to payout, and after 5 minutes of discussion, the low stack decided that he would rather not chop. So, they restarted the timer and let us roll on.
2) I was looking to buy some chips for my home game and was asking the dealers about where to go. The manager Danette called some of her colleagues to see if any of them could help me out. She even helped me search the 'net on the computer in her office to find what I wanted.

It is service like this (and these are just the 2 bright spots of many little nicities) that made me feel compelled to share with AVP.com my story of this great room.

From what I understand, $2 an hour is about as good as can be expected when you are playing at low limits.
