Dealers are rude, elitist snobs who act as if dealing in a low limit hold em game is beneath them. They act as if they're doing the players a favor by allowing them to play in their cardroom, instead of the other way around.
I've played in a few tournaments and live games, and the experience has been consistently the same. From the floor person signing me up for the tournaments, to the dealer at the tables, to the cashier cashing out my chips, to the service waitresses--they all do not make the player feel welcome and comfortable.
All the staff in the poker room should take a customer service class or at least be less transparent about their snobby attitudes.
