Wow, this place is swanky. Probably the best poker environment I have played in (though I've never played at Bellagio, so take that for what it's worth). The decor is what you'd expect from the Wynn -- very stylish and ornate. The seats and tables are wonderful. I also like the fact that the room is completely separate from the noisy casino, yet it's in a high-traffic area where plenty of (hopefully rich) newbies are likely to stroll in.
I played 4-8 Limit HE and lost, mostly because of a few bad beats and some less-than-optimal play on my part. Overall I'd say the competition at 4-8 was just average, definitely beatable for a decent player. If you're a rank amateur, stay away from this room and start out with one of the softer 2-4 or 3-6 games around town.
I wasn't there long, and I only had three different dealers. All three were very good at their jobs. Two were nice and personable while one was a bit cranky but not overtly rude. Overall, they were some of the more skilled and experienced dealers I've had.
I wasn't drinking, so it didn't matter, but the waitresses were scarce. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing one.
I was given a pretty friendly welcome and placed in a game quickly. No complaints.
I didn't ask about any comps, but I'm told the comps are just average. They have no jackpots, which is not uncommon on the strip.
