I love the feel and decor of this new, high-end room. Large, adjustable chairs, great felt, new chips - everything was top shelf. They treated the 4-8 players with respect and courtesy. Everyone associated with the room contributed to an enjoyable poker experience.
I really need to post 2 competition scores. For the 4-8 ring game, it was a "5" easy. No reads required, just play "by the book" for easy profits. I made $200 in 1.5 hours at the 4-8 limit table at 10:00 am in the morning with everyone sober.
HOWEVER, the tournament competition was the hardest I have ever played against. I played 5.5 hours of my A game and busted out in 14th of 80 when I made the mistake of calling the small blind's All In with AQ suited. This tournament was the best structured (T3000 with 40 minute blinds) and had a juicy pay-out for 1-9. 9th was $1,000, first was $7,500.
Top notch with no mistakes. They were professionals, esp. as we went deep in the tournament.
I wasn't wearing sunglasses due to the tournament, but to keep my eyes IN their sockets! All I can say is you must see them for yourself.
The room is a reflection of the team that runs it. Top shelf all the way.
$1 per hour.
