Wynn's room remains the most tasteful poker room in Las Vegas. Even when slammed as it was this past weekend, it retained a sense of intimacy that warehouse rooms like Venetian and Caesars can only dream of accomplishing.
In my 4/8 game, there were a generous number of calling stations and loose agressives. Patience pays.
Wynn's dealers are on a par with Bellagio's - flawless, friendly, fast.
Servers retained a friendly demeanor even with a packed house.
Although efficient, the management allowed the high demand to overwhelm them a bit. Over 30 names on many lists. Managers would focus for 15 minutes trying to fill the 1/3 NL games, calling 12 or 15 names before getting someone present, but ignoring the shouts and increasingly plaintive calls from the limit tables to fill the doubles and triples.
Good, for Las Vegas at least. $1/hour on their card.
