We all know about the history on Binion's. If you want old time Vegas, you got it. The memorabilia on the wall can't help but take you back through poker history. You're right off Fremont Street as well and it's just insane and fun down there at night. It really does give you a feel of what it used to be like in the city.
But when you actually get to the room, it's nice but the size is disappointing. You can't help but wish as historic as the place is that the room was bigger. It's kind of an open room tucked away and it doesn't feel like it used to be the home of the WSOP.
The play is what you'd expect. Interesting mix of players with a fair amount of more veteran players. Once you actually sit down, I think you appreciate it a little more. It has a saloon look to it and generally the players and staff are fun to be around. It's not my first stop to play in Vegas but if you haven't played there, it's something you really should do.
