This new club is great. I make it out for a session about once a week. Friendly, welcoming staff and atmosphere. Always security. Good dealers. Clean. Private bathrooms. Nice chairs. Not cramped. Drinks, snacks, sandwiches available. Ability and willingness to spread any game that is wanted. Great system for tracking playing time to the minute, great value in hourly seat charge discounts. Five hours can be purchased for $55. The boat was charging that when they were hourly 10+ years ago, Club JAQK offers great value for your money. Prepurchased seat charges also means more money stays in play and on the table.
This club is going to keep growing, I can't wait for the word to get out far and wide, when the masses come my guess is they will be open 18+/24 hours a day if clients want action. The owners/proprietors are always there, they are dedicated to this being a 5 Star experience. I know/knew none of them previously, so I can give an unbiased review. I heard the word, walked in the door, and they were very welcoming and accommodating.
I highly recommend checking out this club, it has games 7 days a week 3ish pm until after midnight, it needs more players, the more the merrier come check it out.
They offer daily tourneys (which aren't really my thing) and cash games. Something for everyone.
On big hands the other players and dealers are very accommodating to players requests to 'running it' multiple times. It's not like a casino where it's 'we can't do that' or they have to call the floor to get someone a tissue. It is a players type of environment for people that enjoy playing cards.
Last note, there are more female players per capita here than any room I have been in. Everyone is friendly, everyone is welcome. Lots of couples coming together, regulars, out of towners, business people, moms, dads, young guns, old guns, all are welcomed and treated well here. They have daily all the way up to annual memberships, so they make it easy to give them a try, anyone who gives them a try will be coming back.
