The Downstream poker room is really the best option in the area if you want to play poker frequently, as Indigo's poker room has limited hours and Buffalo Run is just not as good (AKA, no holdem at all). The staff is friendly overall. Some are quieter than others but the environment isn't stuffy and nonsense is handled fairly well. If only the management would actually get their act together. The tournaments are incredibly lackluster, and many times they don't even draw enough players to play them out. On top of that they often don't meet the guarantee. The promotions aren't very appealing and it seems like management takes a 'hands off' approach while still raking the staff into the coals. Their turnover rate seems pretty abysmal as new dealers come and go frequently now. There was a time when a clueless female dealer was stuck in some sort of limbo, she was rude often and couldn't deal to save her life, but it seems like they either refuse to hire more staff or just don't have anyone to hire (which would be shocking, isn't this a big casino??). They seem to have reduced their staff by a whole lot. I can't imagine the same group of dealers I see are filling the whole schedule block unless they are all full time? I doubt it. I am honestly shocked that more dealers haven't just packed their bags, I know I wouldnt want to work there. They seem very high-strung now. It didn't used to be this way. I don't know if we are still stuck in Covid or what. Table games management, I beg you, just pull it together. Burn whatever your new guidline has been. This isn't an uncommon sentiment from the other reviews I see. I shudder to think what happens on the inside given what leaks out.
