This room is hit or miss. Never packed, it's a mix of locals and random tourists. Game types are also sometimes a little odd with a table or two running - but neither running NLH. The rest of the casino is decent and if you are in town to do more than play poker there are a ton of interesting bars and restaurants just outside the El Cortez on East Fremont. If you happen to walk by I'd say stop in and see what's running and what the crowd looks like. If you are in the area I'd call ahead and if you are planning a trip and are staying downtown I'd recommend being prepared to hit up Golden Nugget or Binion's as a backup plan.
