The room is good enough for a bum like me.
I gotta wait over an hour for a coffee sometimes, so I quit waiting and now I show up with one from downstairs. (It's your loss of a tip,honey...you just can't get it done.) I like the staff - the floor and dealers are nice.
My problem is why there are never any real tourneys here. I suppose the right hands haven't been greased, after all, this is the most corrupt swamp ridden democratic cess pool in the country, so I'm sure it has something if not everything to do with it. They liked to say it was because of that phoney flu going around years ago, but that was years ago, now. The fact is nobody can answer the question and I don't expect them to anymore. I don't expect much out of Encore and neither should you. I like the place but I don't love it but that's ok cuz in the end and realistically it saves me money. If I loved the place they'd get more of it. So in the end I win. In fact, I wanna thank them. Thank you Encore for being the tacky- low-grade-watered- down version of a real casino. Thank you for never pretending,since it was Wynn ,to ever care about the poker players. Remember the good ol days when the Loft was endless poker tables with no slots and real tournaments... ya, me neither. But like I said, it's ok. I'll keep going until I don't anymore. The not going anymore part of it isn't right now, but it's getting there. I don't know much, but I know that much. Today was Saturday at 11am... 108 people on the waiting list with a grand total of 6 tables open. I passed. Thank you. Thank you for keeping my money in my pocket. Thank you for not being a serious room.
