It is a nice little room. Not busy, and not for the high rolers. The only games I saw spread were $2/$4 limit and $1/$2 NL, with 1-2 tables most of the time, except, it seems on Friday and Saturday nights. I really like the look and feel of the wooden "racetracks' around the edge of each table.
Fish, fish, fish. Lots of inexperienced players, lots of chasers. And the occasional shark who is there to mix it up with the fishies. Be ready for some limit-like nasty beats, but otherwise the games (at leas the NL games) are extremely soft. Most are simply congenial sorts, at the poker table just like they'd be at a blackjack or any other table: just there to have a little fun, and as long as they are having fun, they don't mind their chips eventually going your way. Just play relaxed, solid, ABC poker and don't try any fancy moves, and you should see solid profit.
Dealers seem friendly and competent. Don't recall and horrible mistakes, not so any stand out as exceptional
I really didn't notice.
List management is paper and pencil, and it's hard to tell who's actually responsible for the list. Promotions aren't posted. It's really hard to figure out what's going on in the room. It's sort of like shopping at Fry's: as long as you don't have to ask anyone who works there a question, you can get some really good deals.
Not sure, didn't inquire, but they swipe your card when you get a seat--and then keep it while you play. Then again, I'd play there for no comps, the games are so soft.
