Room has a good location with lots of walk by traffic..chairs are above average and tables are big so they comfortably sit 10 people, without feeling your wedged in to the table with a shoe horn...they have a stripper who dances in the poker room on Sat nt which is nice..she does not take it all off but she goes down to bra and g-string..2 minute walk from the parking garage to the poker room is very nice...
the NL games are very friendly filled with casual players just looking to have fun, mostly tourists ....the locals i have played with are equally inexperienced and are friendly and talkative..
the dealers at Excali are awful....poor mechanics....super slow ...love to yap instead of moving the cards...and a few of them openly solicit tips...one dealer says "thank you sir" as he pushes you the pot...weak hustle bro , u will never get a tip from me...
as a group they are haggard but efficent...one girl is super agressive and practically gets in your face and screams.."COCKTAIL?"...which is slightly annoying ,but hey I can't fault her since she is on the grind trying to make $..
unorganized...seats will remain open for 5 minutes as players are waiting ...paper list ...PA system when they call your name sounds like the NYC subway PA...the floor people and supervisors overall are pretty miserable and have awful social/customer service skills...
However, there is one very efficient/nice chiprunner/cashier named "Peachie" who does her job very well and is a hard worker with a good personality...but she is the only one....I wouldn't give the rest of the management employees at Excali a mop job...
they drop an extra $1 for jackpot hands....high hands spin a wheel that lands on $20 90% of the time...so obv a scam to drop more money....
