The room is an area within the casino. It fits within the casino style, but offers no spectacular view. No computer list, but a paper list. You can use your MGM life card to get swiped in but have to leave it at the desk. They give it back after your session. It's easy to forget your card.
The competition is the strongest selling point of the room. Besides early morning locals and some grinders, there are a lot of tourists waiting to hand you their money. It's not uncommon to be at a table with mainly tourists.
The dealers made frequent mistakes, and didn't enforce the rules. I was particularly annoyed when I protested against three english tourists softplaying each other openly. They simply turned their cards face up when no other players were in the hand and checked it down. The dealer shrugged and refused to call the floor. I saw dealers matching stacks instead of counting, misdealing, making mistakes, overraking, etc...
Called for coctails twice. She twice took the order but didn't bring anything. Waitresses are not young and slow. When she did bring it, she got the drink wrong.
Nothing done to attract players. They seemed not to care and wouldn't come to the table when I called the floor.
standard $1 per hour on the MGM life card. However no electronic swipe in (see above). Easy to forget your card after a session.
