I would say the overall feel of the room is average. Placement of the room is okay. Not really a room but not really just a roped off area either. What makes this room a great place to play is the competition not the decor. Chairs are average at best. The longer you sit there the less you like them. Tables are okay, no real issues with them.
I find the Excalibur has the most beatable game in Vegas. Being patient here and foldiong marginal hands to large bets really allows you to trap without fail when you pick up the nuts. Many players here will take TPTK to the end without a second thought. This room is just plain beatable by anybody who has some patience and some time to spend waiting it out.
I saw no real issues with the dealers. Most were friendly and dealt a good game, making proper corrections when needed and calling the floor when an issue could not be resolved. All in all I say they are better than average but perhaps a little behind some of the bigger rooms for obvious reasons.
No issues there. Service may not have been the fastest but it was consistent and the servers were friendly.
No real complaints but no real feeling that they were better than comparible rooms. Wait list management seemed subpar compared to the BRAVO rooms. PA system would be difficult to hear if your wait was not in or very near to the poker room.
Standard at best.
