Pretty much a dump but the soft action makes it all worth while!
Complete newbies are not the story here. There are quite a few here but are not nearly as dead money as experienced guys who simply play terrible poker! LOTS of open limping, cold calling raises, hopeless call downs and just stupidly wide open starting hand ranges. Play patient and tight and you will win, plain and simple. Bring your A game and you'll need a wheelbarrow by the end of the night!
These guys do an adequate job and a few are downright funny. However, they DO NOT keep a tight rope on the games. Drunks and party hardy guys are fine when they don't hold up the game. When they do, I expect the dealers and floor to step in. They dealers here not only let all this bull slide, the get testy when other players try do something. Why? Tips! Party hardy guys splash da money around and dealers don't want them to stop, even if it does turn a game into an unruly mess!
Drinks are late in coming and no premium booze, just well drinks. Worst of all, no table side dining. You can eat at the table but you gotta go get your own @#$% food!
Lousy MGM voucher system. No points on your player's card. You have to know ahead of time where your going to eat and how much it will be. Then, you have to get a floor person to fill out a voucher for you. Crazy!
