If you love all the highly polished gleam of the rooms on the Strip, the room at the Nugget will leave you disapointed. That said, it's not crowded, the chairs are ok, and it is a decent place to play for a while.
Maybe it was just the night I played, but it seemed like at least two of the guys there were pros or locals, looking to grind off the tourists who stop in and think it will be fun to play half a rack. I have a friend who an agent on the Gaming Control Board who confirmed my theory, so be prepared to go in there swinging.
Perhaps the best I saw the entire week. No flashes, solid control of the game from start to finish. Unquestionably the best I saw all week.
Fast, but delivered by the type of ladies you would expect to see working downtown.
Fast service in this department as well. The manager showed me to my seat and then brought and stacked my chips for me. Nice touch.
No idea on this one.
