Before I say anything negative, I want to say the management did a great job. You could tell they were doing their best in pleasing guests and made an effort. The dealers were also very friendly and you could tell they were trying. Many of them showed clear skills of being good dealers. So 10/10 for management and dealers.
But the rake is just so bad man. $20 at 1/3 is unheard of and would make more sense if it was even timed or at $15 cap. You can’t help but think the owners are missing out on something bigger here if they just show the players a little bit of respect by lowering the rake. This could be the hub of poker in Canada's biggest city.
