Played two Saturdays in the afternoon. It was pleasently quiet. Good secluded location...hard to believe it was a temp location. I am partial to GVR. I always spend time playing there off the strip. It will become home when I move to Henderson. :)
A few local crafty rocks, a couple of newbie fish, a husband/wife team who I personally thank for their contributions, and the rest average at a typical 2/4. Once again it demands a caution player in a social environment. Higher stakes tables betters your game. This was a tough way to learn patience. :) Walked away from both sessions doubling my buy in.
One shakey dealer with a communications problem irritated me. Beside that, the rest had done this before and maintained law and order. Barbara, Thank's for the memories. :)
I never had to look around. Servers were nice, both for service and scenery. :)
Opening day must have been bad but both Saturdays I played were fine. Wait list controlled and moved along. Staffing was plentiful. I had a good experience. Brought my friend, who suffered at the Riv with me. He loved the difference, and will return.
Players card swiped and noted with the standard $1 per.
