The Poker room at Green Valley Ranch is awesome. There are currently 14 tables of Hold'em, although by request they will spread an omaha game. There is a bar inside the poker game where the the service is great and the drinks are free. Convienent to the exterior of the room is the sportsbook, there are also TV's everywhere inside the room so it is a great place to watch the game as well. The room is open to the outside on one side which is nice because it doesnt feel closed in. Overall an excellent place that lives up to Green Valley's classy atmosphere.
Green Valley attracts a variety of players, most are locals who are about average, with some very good players there obviously grinding it out to pay the bills. THe best part about the competition in Green Valley is that everytime I have played no-limit there, whether it be 1/2, 3/5, or 5/10, there is always at least one person with way too much money to burn. It isn't uncommon for one of these guys to drop a couple thousand in any of these games.
There are a few less experienced dealers there, but for the most part the dealers are great.
Some smokin' hot cocktail waitresses and overall good service, in the later hours I suggest getting two drinks at a time because there will be only one or two girls working.
The Management is Ok, if you show up on a Friday or Saturday night expect to wait a while, usually no more than half an hour. I suggest calling in about twenty minutes before you plan on being there.
All station Casino's give one dollar an hour comp, be sure to sign up for your players club card.
