This place takes a huge rake (6 dollar max) and takes a promo dollar at 10 dollars instead of 20. That means if you win a ten dollar pot (5 dollars is what you put in the pot) the house takes 2 dollars of your 5 dollar winnings. The poker room cage is frequently closed during busy hours and when it is open, the wait times to buy chips it cash out are very long. It is not unusual to have only one person working the cage at peak hours. The tables are too small for nine handed play and the tables are too frequently short handed. The good news is that beer only costs 4.50 to 6 dollars.
