It is very nice, but it is very new having been open only a couple of months (August 26, 2014 was the official opening date). The 25 table poker room is glassed off from the rest of the casino at the far end of the main floor. There is no smoking inside, not even e-cigs, but there are outside patios with smoking – they claim there will be café heaters out there come the winter.
I played $1/$3 no limit holdem with a good group of players. The dealer was fine, the cashier at the cage was really friendly, and the room supervisors were very helpful. The rake is a bit steep at 10% up to $6 + a $1 drop for jackpots (the usual royal flush, fours, etc, and bad beats).
It is ten to a table, which wasn’t cramped, but I’d prefer nine. They will lower the rake, if you request it, if the table has five or fewer players.
