While in Ft Worth last week, i overheard some "old timer" talking about the action at this little uncovered gem in Midland called KoJacks and how great the action is. He told me i needed to try it out. I thought why not, im on a bankroll challenge, and no harm no foul.
I arrived the day after Thanksgiving, and they were running a "Black Friday" promotion. I'd never heard of $5 on the button, but gave it a try. These guys out here love poker. And the floor kept the the atmosphere alive with giveaways all weekend. They love the integrity of the game, they love the players, and they love their staff. 3 sessions in cash ( small loss, win, big win). I was able to stay for the entire weekend and add another almost 5K into my bankroll. Plans were to leave Monday afternoon, but i saw they had a thousand dollar guaranteed FreeRoll. I decided to hang out and try my luck. After the registration closed, there was over $3 thousand in the prize pool. That's when like a kid at Christmas, i got excited. I went out around 13th, but man that tournament was wild. This staff and these players at KoJacks really know how to do it.

Staff is kind and helpful explaining the rules (as many players you could tell were new to the game). Floors took the time to explain to members why floor calls were made.
