I'm about the most mild-mannered person you could hope to meet. Imagine my surprise when I used a restroom, as a man, that had urinals and got kicked out for it.
One night I failed to see the small paragraphs posted beside the door that the restroom had temporarily been made a female restroom.
While at the urinal, one woman did enter the restroom. I was rather surprised at her indignation that I was there. I went back to my table.
Moments later I was told that I must leave the establishment because I used a 'womens' restroom. Of course, I was bewildered.
As I was cashing out I asked to speak to the manager. It was at this point security grabbed me by the arm and began shoving me out.
As a side note, he was smaller than me and I am sure that my 10 years practicing BJJ would have alleviated some of the embarrassment of being forcibly removed from the place. But whatever.
I went back tonight after months of avoiding the place only to hear that I couldn't enter because I 'used the f word repeatedly'.
Amazing. Would you have fired an f bomb or two at such a surprising event?
I will not return to this place.
