I really like this room. It is smaller, but feels spacious. The tables are nice with half having shufflers. Chairs are comfortable, but not the best in town.
Room has a nice feel and you are close to a deli and sportsbook. I can play here for days.
When I was there for >20 hours, the competition was soft. All your good hands would get paid off. I did have one of my roughest outings there when none of my premium hands would hold up. I lost with AK suited three times, KK once, QQ twice, JJ three times in one session. With 6-8 seeing the flop and riding their hands too far, the suckout factor was high. I lost one two hands where the villians (opponents) had five outs and three outs and made their hands on the river. While I suffered this statistical tragedy, it could be very productive in the long run.
I was the only player raising preflop and getting 5-6 callers each time. Some of the players would call to the river with unimproved hands.
Most of the dealers were pretty good, although a few of them were slow and did not control the game.
Cocktails came average speed, but those girls were overworked. Most were very hot!
Lists were run well and management was very accomodating with my questions.
This is where this rooms scores in my opinion. Food comps after four hours. High hand bonuses are usually anywhere from 50-2000 dollars and certain timeframes get you an extra fifty bucks. I hit quad 3's for a 200 dollar payday.
The room rate is 115 for weekdays and I believe 175 for averaging five hours of play. The manager said that you can get the room for as little as one night if you want. For a hotel/casino of that quality, it is a great deal!
