The room is very convenient to the Strip if you are walking. There are two poker desks - the front one manages lower limits and the smaller desk at the rear of the room is for 10-20 & up. Also, the poker room has its own cage which is very convenient. The overall vibe on a Tuesday night was somewhat reserved, but the room was very active and had about 12 tables going. All in all, a comfortable place to play.
I only played 30 minutes of 3/6 (no other limits below 20/40 were open at 6:30). The players were 75% local and generally angry. There was a feeling of naked hostility if ANYONE raised the old guy's BB - so a few of us did LOL! I really didn't enjoy the simmering anger so I was glad I came here to enter the $130 NL tourney at 7:00. The players in the MTT were 2/3 decent and only 1/3 fishy; however the structure of 2K chips plus 30 minute blinds allowed for patient, TAG play. Unfortunately for me, I kept getting the bad side of variance on good bets.
Competent, but not very memorable. One older lady had a real problem with English as a first language. She mis-heard "I'm ALL IN" as "call" !?! which could have been a disaster if the floor hadn't over-ruled her and allowed the player's verbal declaration as confirmed by several of us at the table to stand.
Not so hot, and definitely not fast. However, she was very friendly and actually found me after a table move.
The strenght of the room. Very professional and experienced. They ran an efficient room (without an electronic list management - seriously guys, make the investment!) and a good tourney.
Don't know, didn't ask. I was there for the MTT.
