I am a Vegas local and I have played at the Mirage poker room for a few of their afternoon tournaments. If you want easy competition, this is the place to go to. The tournaments are soft, and filled with tourists most of the time. I bubbled once and then took first the next day. The room is nice, the tables are comfortable, and the felt is clean.
I am a player who stays motivated playing against competition, and after a few go's - this place got boring to me. If you are coming to Vegas for a trip and fear to sit at a poker table, this is a good room to get your feet wet.
