Monday I get a text for $55 total. $30 buy in. $10 seat rental +$10 daily also $5 add on. That's a 20k starting stack. The lady charges me $60 and gives me an extra 5k. All the players sit down to begin the tournament with 25k and a guy comes back around and takes everyone's 5k chip back away. So I said we all paid $60 so where's our refund? He said there isn't a refund. Text says $55 we paid $60. Lol that's an extra $5 per player. Then Tuesday I get another text. $35 TOTAL! $20 tournament $10 daily plus $5 for additional 5k. lol starting stack 10k. We walk in and they charge $40. I said what's the extra $5 for again? He said the additional 5k. lol I showed him the text and he was persistent that he was correct. So I said why text Total $35 if you're charging $40?????? Then a dealer walks by and says the starting stack is really 5k. Lol wtf?? So again everyone who plays the tournament paid an extra $5. $5 isn't much but it adds up for every player for a 3-7 table tournament. It's a nice place and I hope they fix the text messages moving forward.
