I have played at Red Rock several times over the years, and the situation there has gotten progressively worse. They wear "We love locals" on their name tags, and believe you me it is true. Dealers and management let the locals do as they please. They allow players to talk, txt and message on their phones constantly, pay little attention to what is actually going on, and don't seem to be concerned when issues are brought to their attention.
The locals all know each other and the staff allows them to run the show. The players will team up on non-locals. Makes it tough to win ESPECIALLY in a tournament. I see reviews where dealers deal the cards high (take a look if you can), misdeal, expose cards, etc. I saw it all.
Last night I called a bet, lost, and the dealer raked all the pot to the local guy before I could put my chips in. Immediately all the locals stated the bet amount ($90) without my ever knowing how much it really was….and the dealer….clueless what to do. Just another example of favoring the familiar faces at the table.
They may not want business from out of towers, and believe me they will get no more of mine.
