Played there twice over the 4th of July weekend. First impression positive.
Very nice room. Good location. What you would expect for $4.3B in a new casino
Good staff, Like everything in Vegas understaffed and some new dealers getting up to speed.
Can't really tell about competition based on two visit. First night (Friday late night) table loose with good action. Second night Sunday very tight most local pros.
Wait staff was friendly and quick. Negative margarita tasted like favored water. Coke was small and flat. Don't understand why billion dollar resort are so cheap on pop. Positive little store off room. Had taste $16 turkey sandwich.
Comps $1.50 an hour, no high hands etc. Staff did get me a rewards card when I checked in so I didn't have to stand in line.
Casino has a number of bugs overall. POS was down when I bought the sandwich and we had to stand their for 5 minutes while they figured it out. Walk outside to get air Sunday night via the Crockford's lobby (poker room is right next too) and was stop by security when I tried to reentry saying the lobby was closed to all except guest of the hotel. He relented and let me walk through when I told him I was trying to get back to the poker room. If this is the policy they need to post it somewhere in the poker room. Also no taxis and a long line Friday night. One negative is its a long walk from most of the strip. I'm sure they will get all this worked out but you should plan on being patient if you go there in the early weeks.
Overall nice room will definitely return on next trip.
