The atmosphere is fair, the chairs are in poor condition with some of them uneven and broken, not to mention uncomfortable! The tables are average. The cards are terribly worn down and warped, the faces of the cards seem to be a tad bit pink from the felt of the tables.
The standard drunks are easy to beat when they are not sucking out on you. The downside is that they let their dealers and staff play. It doesn't help in such a small room to have a third of the table poker room employees. Most of which are quite open about just getting off shift.
Some of the dealers are great when they are not complaining about work or their coworkers.
when you tip well and not ask for anything special. average drink selection. fair looking waitresses if you like them old.
One of the worst rooms I've ever played in. We were playing last week and they shut down the room at 4am. We were playing 1/2 NL and there were like 30+ players in the tourney. I'm not sure if they ever got their money back for being kicked out of the tourney during the height of play. I was lucky to be playing a ring game and was able to cash out. I can't believe that they shut the room down!!! I was told that if I didn't like it I could play elsewhere.
The Management is totally incompetent. They obviously are unhappy there and make it well known to everyone in earshot. What idiot closes down a busy poker room?
I was told that it was $1 an hour but I didn't bother.
