I've traveled up several times now expecting full cash tables to be running and have been frequently disappointed to find a only single shorthanded table. I went up another time for the big Thursday night tournament and there were only 12 players entered. Management still expected the $10 seat fee on top of the tournament entry even when $25 already goes to the house..? A $10 daily fee is ridiculous when cash games only run for a few hours and there is already a $13 hourly fee, no matter if you're playing $1/3 or $2/5. Other oddities are that there is no food on site so make sure to eat ahead of time or bring a meal. The AT&T cell service is non existent inside the building (luckily they do have free wifi for iPhone messaging...but no texting to non iPhone users while you are there.)
When I did play, I will say the dealers we're competent and friendly. The building and space is great and full of potential but there literally nothing to do while you wait and no guarantee that a game will start at all if you do wait...Especially if you can only draw 12 players for a tournament. Some couches with a TV to watch games or something would be something positive. There's just no traffic of people due to the location and it not being a casino poker room.
All of the five chip (star) reviews must be friends of the owners...a bit misleading. There is potential here, but currently it is just potential. Keep that in mind before you make the trip.

Hi PortlandAce, thanks for trying us out! I’m sorry that you had a poor experience. Unfortunately, we do not control who comes in to play on specific days; it sounds like you caught us on a slower night. The two Thursday tournaments after your review had 24 and 38 entries.
As we are a members-only club, everyone must have an active membership in order to participate in any club activities, including tournaments. We offer daily membership at $10, monthly membership for $75, and annual membership at $300. I am sorry that you did not have a chance to talk to us about the fees while you were here. If you have any questions or want to discuss further, please email us at office@triplebarrelsocial.com or call us at (270)-776-9600.
We are also working on bringing more amenities to the club, such as meal service and a lounge area. We strive to provide a great member experience, and as a new, small business it will take us some time to get fully installed for members to enjoy.
Thank you for your feedback. We do not control or censor reviews that we receive on any platform because we want to hear feedback from our members. Please reach out to us so we can discuss your concerns and ideas for improvement in more depth. We hope you will come back to see the changes we are implementing to improve the experience!
