3rd Trip to Vegas, First Trip playing Poker

The poker room here is not really that much of a room, just a corner area with ~10 tables. They do have a bar inside the area and a 4 screen big screen TV in the corner, if you are lucky enough to get seated facing it and like to fold.

This was my first time playing in live money games. I have played for quite a while online and in a couple garage tournaments, so I am not going to be able to give an expert opinion in this area. I did break about even after 30 hours of playing poker here over 4 days, so I am going to give it an easy rating. Do beware of the garbage players catching stuff when you have 10 players seeing the flop.

Again, first time live game here, but I only saw about 5 misdeals during my 30 hours. Most of them had very good personalities and were very helpful and patient, especially with some of the obviously beginner players. I only experienced two dealers during the whole time that just did their job and didnt really engage in any conversations. I even experienced a few side bets with one dealer after he heckled me for folding a 3-8 offsuit and then a 5-8 offsuit. Both hands would have taken the pot.

Most of the waitresses here were attractive and all seemed to be pretty quick. The service slowed a little bit when the poker room bar was not open, but that was just from having to travel further to get the drinks. I drank mostly beer and water, so the quality was good!

Again, this is going to be average because I didn't go to any others. I did not have to wait a single time for a table, but sometimes you had to go track down the manager because they were wandering around. They were always helpful and answered all questions.

The comps have dropped to $2 an hour since they moved the poker room downstairs, but hey $2 free dollars an hour. I racked up $60 in comps over 4 days, so I bought some stuff to take back to the family and can't complain. Unfortunately i would not know about any high hand jackpots, because I couldn't find one in the 30 hours i was there.
