Diamond in the rough

This is a small room, and part of the casino floor, with only a half wall to separate the room from the casino. So, you get all the noise and some of the smoke from the casino. However, this atmosphere creates the IP's best asset--a fun, gamble it up vibe that can create a windfall for a good player. Tables are roomy. Let's face it--go to IP for the soft games rather than the decor. One downside; finding a NLHE game is not always a given in the off hours.

The 1/2 NL games are as soft as they come (rivalled only by Bally's). The Sunday night mixed game is a blast, but the regulars are sharks drawn to chum (usually you).

Allen is my ideal dealer--technically skilled, funny, and keeps the game in control and moving along. The rest of the crew range from good to solid.

Drink service is reliable, but no premium drinks.

Managers on my sessions were solid. I got placed into games with little delay, decisions were correct and well-handled, and overall a friendly atmosphere was maintained.

$2/hour on the Harrah's card, along with HHJs elevate this room above many smaller rooms in Vegas.
