It is not really a "poker room" at all, it's in a hallway. Overall, it was clean and not very smoky at all. There was smoking allowed just outside the barrier but I didn't have any trouble with the smoke. The poker tables were not bad at all. It was a laid back atmosphere and I always felt pretty good when playing there.
These players that play here are terrible. It is hard to play against weak players. I did well the first night I played but after that the idiots got the best of me. In the words of Phil Hellmuth "If there wasn't luck involved I would win every hand" If you do play at the IP my best advice would be not to play the best hands because you don't have to. I would play again at the IP now that I know how the players are. If you play there you will know what I mean.
There was the good, the bad, and the ugly. All of these are represented by the dealers here at the IP. For the most part all the dealers were friendly.
I thought the cocktail waitresses at the IP were not bad at all. They were quick and nice looking. The mixed drinks were weak but I really haven't found anywhere that they wasn't. If you want get the most out of the free booze, order a beer.
I had no problems with the management. They were all friendly and willing to help if any problems come up.
The comps here are great, could be the best on the strip.
