The room was small and old looking. I was staying at the Mirage where I had played a couple of sessions so I'm sure that made the room feel a little yuckier than it was. The tables were nice to look at if you weren't playing but made seeing the cards and the rest of the action a little tough.
I played 6 hands of no limit before I swithed to limit. The no limit game was ridiculous. People constantly way overbetting the pot. Plus, there wasn't an automatic shuffler on the no limit table which made the game really slow. The limit table was fun except for one kid who was way too serious. I just won a big pot and was stacking my chips. I didn't realize the action for the next hand was on me. He started griping at me to hurry up and stack my chips later. I just kind of laughed and asked if this was a 2/4 table and not a 2/5 no limit. The dealer informed this young person that I didn't know I had cards. He proceeded to lose the next two pots then finally won by accident. He didn"t realize he caught the flush on the river and almost mucked. It didn't matter, he busted a couple of hands later, cursing under his breath the whole time. What a joke.
The dealers were nice and friendly. Seemed very competent.
I didn't drink but there always seemed to be a cocktail server around and the only reason I know this is because I'm a heterosexual male. They are really good-looking and there must be a rule requiring all of them to have huge chest. I'm not complaining though.
They were very nice and allowed me to move tables rather quickly and without giving me that "why are you being so difficult" look.
I don't really know what comps they had. I know they had some jackpots but the rake was higher in the 2/4 game than the 3/6 at Mirage.
